How to Prepare for Your Lesson

Drop Off and Pick Up Information

Please review the below information to prepare for your lesson, if you are unfamiliar with the resort visit our Getting Here and Parking page

Step 1:
Resort Arrival
  • On weekends, holidays, and heavy snow days our parking lots fill early.
  • Aim for an 8:00am arrival for the best parking opportunities and a more relaxing start to your experience if you are taking morning lessons.
Step 2:
Lesson Check-In
  • Children in group lessons will need to pick up lift tickets and rentals before lesson start time. All lessons require a valid lift ticket or season pass to participate.
  • If your child requires rental equipment. arrive at least 60 minutes prior to lesson start time.
  • If you are bringing your own equipment, arrive 15 minutes prior to lesson start time to allow time for check-in, guest experience support as needed, and meeting your child's instructor.
Step 3:
Lesson Drop Off
  • Parents must stay with your child until the check-in procedure is complete, their gear is on and they have been connected with their instructor.
  • Confirm pick-up location and time with your instructor prior to leaving the area.
  • Please be sure your child has access to the restroom prior to drop-off to maximize lesson time.
Lesson Start and Pick-Up Times

Arrive for a timely pick-up of your child. Children will only be released to a designated adult.

  • Ages 3-4. Lessons are 1½ hours long:
    • 10:30am - 12:00pm
    • 1:30pm - 3:00pm
  • Ages 5-14. Lessons are 2 hours long:
    • 10:00am - 12:00pm
    • 1:00pm - 3:00pm
    • 4:00pm - 6:00pm
    • 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Step 2:
Equipment Rental
  • If you are renting equipment at the resort, please allow 60 minutes for equipment fitting.
  • If you are bringing your own equipment skip this step.
Step 3:
Lesson Check-In
  • Adult Group Lessons check-in is located at the Ski & Ride School Learning Center located on the back patio
  • Arrive at the lessons check-in area 15 minutes before your lesson start time with your ski/snowboard equipment to allow time for check-in, guest experience support as needed, and meeting your instructor.
  • Look for our helpful Ski & Ride School employees in the blue uniforms to guide you from there.
  • All lessons require a valid lift ticket or season pass to participate. These can be purchased or picked up at the ticket office if pre-purchased.
Lesson Times

Lessons are 2 hours in length. Lesson times are:

  • 10:00am - 12:00pm
  • 1:00pm - 3:00pm
  • 4:00pm - 6:00pm
  • 6:00pm - 8:00pm

  • Private lesson students should start at the ticket window where a lesson packet will be available for pickup.
  • After packet pickup head over to our rental building (if purchased) and get fitted for equipment.
  • If you are renting equipment at the resort, please allow 60 minutes for equipment fitting.
  • If you are bringing your own equipment skip this step.
Step 3:
Lesson Check-In
  • Private Lessons meet at the The Ski & Ride School building on the back patio. Look for a Ski & Ride School Instructor (in blue uniforms) for lesson information!
  • Arrive at the lessons check-in area 15 minutes before your lesson start time with your ski/snowboard equipment to allow time for check-in, guest experience support as needed, and meeting your instructor.
  • All lessons require a valid lift ticket or season pass to participate. These can be purchased or picked up at the ticket office if pre-purchased.
Lesson Times

Private Lessons are 1 or 2 hours in length. Check your confirmation email for your lesson start time and final booking details.
